Opening Plenary

Men's Health, Looking Back 5 Years, How Far Have We Come?

Greg Millan, president of AMHF, will share some of his experiences working in the men's health sector.

The rest of session 1 is dedicated to reviewing the state of play in the world of men’s health.

  • Jim Reed of Resolve Strategic, will present some of the initial findings of his polling on public attitudes about men’s health and social issues, commissioned by the Australian Men’s Health Forum.

  • This will be followed by a discussion featuring:

    • Dr Anthony Brown of Global Action for Men’s Health

    • Dr Neil Hall of the Men’s Health Information and Resource Centre (MHIRC)

    • Glen Poole, CEO of the Australian Men’s Health Forum

  • This session includes a case study presented by Cassidy Shaw, research co-ordinator at the Conviction Group young men's health project.
