Men's Health Research Symposium
Program - Wednesday 24th June
This event brings together academics from different disciplines and backgrounds with a shared interest in men’s health to explore common understandings (and misunderstandings), discuss some of the big ideas in men’s health research and explore opportunities for greater collaboration.
Working With Young Men Symposium
Program - Thursday 25th June
The foundations of men’s health are laid down in the early stages of life. Working to improve the lives and health of young men today can have a positive social benefit that lasts decades. This event brings together some of the leading projects working with young men across Australia to share their knowledge and experience.
Men Who Care
Program - Friday 26th June
Men are under-represented in a variety of care settings including early childhood education, nursing, paid and unpaid care work and parenting. Today's event explores the current status of men in early childhood education and brings together men working across different care settings to discuss some of the challenges faced by men in caring roles as well as celebrating their success and examining different ways to increase men's access to caring as a social role and a profession.
Understanding the health needs of males who identify as gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex

What are the key health issues facing males who identify as gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex and how can we ensure that our work to make health services more male-friendly takes into account the diverse needs of these communities?
